Dear North Bay Elementary Families:

                Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year.  As we continue to improve our school we are excited to welcome the Preschool Promise Program to North Bay.  Early learning is essential to student success.  Whether your students have formal preschool experience or informal learning at home, the time spent helping them develop pre-academic skills will be magnified as they apply those skills in elementary school.

                As you start the year please set a goal of helping your child be at school on time every day.   Attendance is essential for your student’s success.  Regular attenders learn more, perform better, and unlock more opportunities at every level of education.  You are your children’s first teacher.  Be their best teacher.  Teach them to be where they are supposed to be when they are supposed to be there.

                We are grateful for the stewardship you are willing to give us by sending your children to North Bay Elementary.  Many children will spend more waking hours with their teachers during the school year than their parents.  We recognize the trust you have given us.  Please talk to your children about their school day on a regular basis.  Ask your child about their learning.  Ask them what they enjoyed and what the favorite part of their day was.  If they have safety concerns, please contact us.  Working together we can continually improve learning and safe classroom environments.

                This handbook is the North Bay Elementary supplement to the North Bend School District Student Handbook located at (link).  Please take time to review our district and school handbooks and check for updated communication from ParentSquare on how you can be involved in our school and district activities.
